Notice Of Annual Reorganization Meeting
Thursday, February 9, at 4:30 p.m. in the Conference Room located at The Solid Waste Division, 286 Welchville Road, Alloway NJ.
Safety Coordinator/Landfill Technician
Under the direction of the Landfill Manager, the full-time Safety Coordinator/Landfill Technician position is to work an annual average of forty (40) hours per week, Safety Coordinator/Landfill Technician person will be an individual who possesses a background and knowledge in the areas of safety and perform manual and physical labor in the operation of the equipment. Additionally, this position will serve as the primary point of contact for all safety issues. The Safety Coordinator/Landfill Technician person will be responsible for reporting directly to the Landfill Manager and will work independently and/or in conjunction with other employees of the Salem County Improvement Authority.
Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist is responsible for providing the best customer service. The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist a weekly average of 20 hours per week. This person will perform duties for the Executive Director following prescribed and well-established procedures, including other responsibilities as may be as assigned.

Part-Time Laborer
Under the direction of the Landfill Manager, the part time Laborer is to no less than 16 hours and no more the 32 hours weekly. Wednesdays and Saturdays are a must. The part-time Laborer is responsible to perform duties related to laborer well established procedures and other duties as assigned.
The part-time Laborer will be an individual who possesses a background and knowledge in the areas of janitorial and general ground maintenance. The part-time Laborer will be required to perform manual and physical labor, in relation to semi-skilled labor, (such as the operation of grass cutting equipment, maintenance and cleaning equipment, use of simple hand tools, litter pick-up and driving a pick-up truck). The part-time Laborer will be responsible for reporting directly to the Landfill Manager and will work independently and/or in conjunction with other employees of the Salem County Improvement Authority.
