The Salem County Improvement Authority will resume accepting RESIDENTIAL BRUSH on Saturday, June 7, through Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
Salem County residents may dispose of BRUSH ONLY without disposal fees. No commercial disposal is allowed. Loads must be free of any excluded materials to qualify for the amnesty program. All loads will be inspected.
BRUSH: branches, logs, and woody material larger than 2” in diameter.
EXCLUDED ITEMS: dirt, rocks, concrete, stumps, animal waste, grass clippings, leaves, soft vegetative waste or trash.
Brush Amnesty Days will be held at the Salem County Improvement Authority, 36 McKillip Road, Alloway NJ 08001, every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, beginning June 7, 2025, through November 1, 2025, during the hours of 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. After November 1, 2025, brush will be accepted on Wednesday and Saturday only, during the hours of 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Other acceptable materials are allowed at the Convenience Center during the same days and hours, but with the associated fees charged.
