The Salem County Improvement Authority will extend the RESIDENTIAL BRUSH amnesty through December 31, 2026.

Salem County residents may dispose of BRUSH ONLY without disposal fees. No commercial disposal is allowed.  Loads must be free from the excluded items listed below, to qualify for the amnesty program.  All loads will be inspected.

BRUSH: branches, logs, and woody material larger than 2” in diameter.

EXCLUDED ITEMS: dirt, rocks, concrete, stumps, animal waste, grass clippings, leaves, soft vegetative waste, or trash.

Brush may be delivered to the Convenience Center, which is located at 36 McKillip Road, Alloway NJ 08001.

The Convenience Center is currently open to the public on Wednesday and Saturday, during the hours of 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.   Beginning  April 6, 2026, the Convenience Center will be open to the public on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, during the hours of 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Other materials can be brought to the Convenience Center but will be charged the appropriate disposal fees.
