FURNISHING AND INSTALLATION OF A NEW (Model Year 2018)

GEOLOGIC Orion GPS or Equivalent

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Salem County Improvement Authority (SCIA) for the Furnishing and Installation of a New GEOLOGIC Orion GPS System or Equivalent.  Bids will be received, opened and read in public at the administrative office of the Salem County Improvement Authority, P.O. Box 890, 52 McKillip Road, Alloway, New Jersey 08001 on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time.

Technical specifications and forms of bid for the Furnishing and Installation of a New (Model Year 2018) or Newer GEOLOGIC Orion GPS System or Equivalent are on file at the SCIA administrative offices located at 52 McKillip Road, Alloway, New Jersey 08001.  Bidders will be furnished with a copy of the specifications at no cost and may pick them up between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. or, request a copy by e-mail, mail or fax at (856) 935-7331.  Should overnight delivery be requested, the prospective bidder is responsible for bearing that expense.

Bids must be made on the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the following information on the outermost envelope:

  1. Name and address of the bidder
  2. Name of the bid Furnishing and Installation of a New GEOLOGIC Orion GPS System or Equivalent.
  3. Bid date (Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time)
  4. Addressed to the Salem County Improvement Authority, P.O. Box 890, 52 McKillip Road, Alloway, New Jersey 08001.

The signed proposal forms must be delivered to the place named above on or before the scheduled bid opening.  The accepted applicant will execute the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award. 

Applicants are to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) Affirmative Action and P.L. 1977, c. 33 (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2) Corporate Disclosure.

The Authority reserves the right to, as permitted by law: (i) not select any of the applicants; (ii) require applicants to submit to a personal interview and/or submit additional or clarifying information; (iii) to reject any and all proposals; (iv) to waive any informalities in the proposals; and (v) procure the articles or services from other sources if deemed most advantageous to the objectives of the Authority.

The Authority’s determination of the applicant who is most advantageous to the goals and objectives of the Authority shall be final and conclusive.
